why i believe #1: many things have eyes

what is faith?

it’s being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

(Hebrews 11:1)

why does god let me go though hard times?

  • Does there seem to be a problem waiting for you no matter where you turn?
  • Do you sometimes wonder if your dreams are ever going to come to pass?
  • Maybe you’ve asked why God would allow you to struggle in your job, your relationships, your health, or some other area of life.
  • God allows you to go through challenges because He knows it’s the struggle of life that builds strength in you.

If God simply delivered you from every struggle every time, then you may not continue to grow and learn to trust Him.

When you persevere through difficult times, you’ll begin to realize a greater level of joy, peace, victory, and abundance than you ever dreamed possible.

Remember, God loves you too much to leave you where you are. He’s preparing you for something better!

evidence for jesus – test everything!

Logical questions abound. People often wonder if the bible really wants us to seek evidence regarding what it says or evidence about jesus. What does the bible say about this? Are we simply to accept its words in faith? The answer is no! the bible commands us to “test everything”, including the bible itself:

Test everything. Hold on to the good. (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Why would the bible include such a command? Because untested faith is blind faith. And blind faith can lead to faith in anything.

It can lead to faith in the religious leader of one’s parents. It can lead to the most popular faith in the community. It can lead to the faith of friends or unknown bloggers!

It can even lead to faith in people such as Jim Jones and David Koresh.

However, properly tested faith will only lead to the truth. Which is why I read, I study, I listen, I ask, I probe and why I write.
